The Mammoth Museum

The Mammoth Museum
The 1927 Hayden Log Cabin has been turned into a Museum.  It was one of the earliest accommodations in the area.  The lodging was in the form of a Bed and Breakfast. The main purpose of this summer cabin was to house people who came to fish and hunt!  Click here for the video.

Mtn Biking Videos - More on the Way!

The Kamikaze Downhill Race 2007 - Mtn Biking Video
The famous Kamikaze Race still takes place every year.  To get to the start you ride the Gondola to 11,053 Feet! These days this race is a low key event held on a Thursday.  Snowman was there last Summer 2007 to catch all the action.   Click here for the video.

Shot Gun Trail - Mtn Biking Video
This trail rocks you right out of the park.  The trails head is located right near the top  of chair 7.  It is easy to find from the Bike Park Trail map!  Click here for the Shot Gun Trail Video from the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park.

Fishing Videos

Fishmas Opening Day 2008
Many people call it Fishmas here in the Eastern Sierra.  That would be our opening day of fishing.  This season the crowds were just a bit down but the haul was great as it is just about every year.  Click here for the Video.

Stocking Alpers Trout at Twin Lakes
Large Alpers Trout are named after the man that raises them, Tim Alpers. These fighting fish are put into area lakes and creeks at various times and locations during the fishing season.  Click here for the video.

This Lake truly is  a unique place.  It was created by DWP in the late 1930's with the Lake opening to the public in 1941!  This is one place that every trout angler must come to experience.    Click here for the video.
