A great Mtn Bike season is under way here in the Eastern Sierra. All trails from 11,000 down are open and ready to ride up or down.

V.C. Racing Tuesdays at Shady Rest Park and Thursdays up at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. Call Mammoth Sporting goods 934-3239 for all the details and times. The videos playing above were shot during the downhill V.C.'s.

The Kamikaze Downhill Race 2007 - Mtn Biking Video
The famous Kamikaze Race still takes place every year. To get to the start you ride the Gondola to 11,053 Feet! These days this race is a low key event held on a Thursday. Snowman was there last Summer 2007 to catch all the action. Click here for the video.

Shot Gun Trail - Mtn Biking Video
This trail rocks you right out of the park. The trails head is located right near the top of chair 7. It is easy to find from the Bike Park Trail map! Click here for the Shot Gun Trail Video from the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park.

Velocity - Mtn Biking Video
This trail is a very popular downhill trail that you access via the gondola. Exit at Mc Coy Station and follow the sign to downhill action. We are working on a fresh edit with new footage from last season. Look for that post in June! Click here for the Velocity Trail Video.
